One of the most delayed but biggest films in recent times is none other than Yash’s “Toxic”, his next outing after the super successful KGF franchise that stunned everyone at the box office. The film is naturally carrying huge buzz, and after the trailer came out, the youth are going mad at the way director Geethu Mohandas crafted the movie.

Reports are coming that Toxic was sold out to local distributors in various states at hefty prices. The other day, with Dil Raju attending the pre-release event of the Toxic Telugu version in Hyderabad, it has become clear that the ace producer acquired the distribution rights of the movie. They say that he bagged the rights for a whopping ₹100 crores for both the Telugu states. That means, from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the film should easily get ₹200 crores gross to return back his investment.

However, with many theatres under his own lease, and many exhibitors being his ‘group’ folks, surely Dil Raju will make his investment back even if the film collects around ₹160 crores also, because there will be no theatre rents and distributor commissions included. That would be quite an easy task for obvious reasons.

When the likes of Maa Inti Bangaram collected ₹100 crores, and now Irumudi is heading towards ₹80 crores in 4 days, surely Yash’s Toxic would make that total in the first week itself. However, if the film fails to meet the hype, then the situation would be different.
