Can 'YRF Spy Universe' Make A Strong Comeback?

Yash Raj Films has created its own spy universe. With three big stars like Shah Rukh, Salman and Hrithik, they have three Indian agents who go around saving the country despite all odds. We have seen movies like 'Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War' and 'Pathaan' doing extremely. Though 'Tiger 3' disappointed the audience a bit, there are a lot of expectations on the upcoming projects from this spy universe.

YRF team did not have the plans to create a universe while doing the first two parts of the 'Tiger' franchise. Even 'War' was supposed to be a separate film. But the euphoria created in theatres after watching SRK and Salman together in 'Pathaan' made the production house create a spy universe. But dealing with the same kind of stories, made the audience feel a bit vexed. 'Tiger 3' failed to meet the expectations. People are now curious to see if Yash Raj Films add something new to the universe to make things interesting or stick to the same formula and try to grab money by casting big stars.

As we know, Hrithik is becoming Kabir once again for 'War 2' and NTR will be seen as the antagonist as per reports. Ayan Mukherji is directing it. A source explains, “YRF Spy Universe has become a huge draw for audiences worldwide as seen in the box office result that this franchise has delivered. Adi wants to set up the mega clash of two of India's biggest cinematic icons Shah Rukh Khan & Salman Khan with a film that will be a precursor to the violent face-off in Tiger vs Pathaan.”

Also, there are reports arriving that 'Pathaan 2' will begin at the end of 2024. While the lineup looks interesting, we need to see if YRF makes a strong comeback after 'Tiger 3' or not.
