Kannada hero Yash became a pan-Indian hero thanks to the massive success of 'KGF'. This two-part action drama made him a darling of the masses across the nation. He took a long time before announcing his next project 'Toxic: A Tale For Grown-ups'. Also, he is going to be a part of 'Ramayana: Part 1' which is going to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari while Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi will be seen as Ram and Sita.

During one of his conversations with Film Companion, he talked about the rivalries between the film industries and how they could be converted for the betterment. He said, “Respect Bollywood, forget the North and South. Don't do that. One KGF will not change the industry. I don't want to be modest and all because this is to inspire people. Just don't be jealous or just say we are good.”

He added, “The youngsters should understand how people are trying to fool you. It is not a good development when people start ridiculing Bollywood, saying they are nothing. They (Bollywood) have taught us so many things, and we all should respect that.”

He also said that India has arrived and it is time to stop competing within themselves and compete with the world. Coming to 'Toxic', the movie is about a drug mafia group in Goa. It is expected to hit the screens on April 10th, 2025.
