Prashant Varma's directorial "Hanuman" has been a phenomenal success at the box office. The Telugu film, initially a small release, has raked in a whopping Rs.330 crore, far exceeding its Rs.40 crore budget. With fans eagerly awaiting its OTT release, ZEE5, which was initially rumored to be streaming the movie, has finally issued a clarification.

In a recent statement, ZEE5 confirmed that they haven't received any information regarding "Hanuman's" OTT release and no decision has been taken on acquiring the streaming rights. The company advised fans to follow their social media channels for further updates. This comes as a disappointment to many who were expecting the movie to premiere on ZEE5 on March 8th, coinciding with Shivratri.

Meanwhile, director Prashant Varma is busy capitalizing on the success of "Hanuman." He is currently engrossed in writing the script for his next project, titled "Jai Hanuman," which presumably builds upon the universe established in the first film. On the other hand, the lead actor Teja Sajja, who rose to fame with his portrayal of Hanuman, is yet to sign any new projects. Fans are eagerly waiting to see which role he picks up next, hoping to see him capitalize on the momentum gained from "Hanuman's" massive success.
