Samaikyandhra stir which began on July 31st has completed 100 days on Thursday. People of all the 13 Seemandhra districts have participated in the agitations to keep the movement alive all these days. APNGOs, RTC employees and people from all walks of live participated in the indefinite strike which lasted for more than two months.
APNGOs chief and Samaikyandhra Protection Committee president P Ashok Babu made it clear that government employees have taken a temporary halt and the strike will be relaunched if the Centre goes ahead with the decision of Congress Working Committee (CWC) to divide the state.
As Centre has no plans to back off from the Telangana declaration, Samaikyandhra agitations might continue at least till the next general elections.
