It was the D-day in state assembly and amid chaotic scenes in the house Speaker Nadendla Manohar tabled the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill, 2013
The bill is of 65 pages containing 13 schedules. As expected the bill created huge ruckus in the house with MLAs of both sides surrounding the speaker podium.
Amidst noisy scenes, the Assembly Secretary Raja Sadaram read out the letter sent by the President and the brief contents of the bill
Both the houses were adjourned and it was not clear when the bill would be taken up for debate.The Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill, 2013, sent by President Pranab Mukherjee for formation of Telangana asked the house to send it back with its views by January.
Here are the 13 schedules of the much-awaited T-bill
1. Details of the Rajyasabha Members,
2. Details of the Reorganization of the constituencies of Loksabha and Assembly.
3. Details of the Legislative Councils constituencies.
4. Division of the Legislative Council Members
5. Details of the Scheduled Casts in Telangana region.
6. Details of the Scheduled Tribes in Telangana region.
7. Details of Funds
8. Details of the pensions to employees.
9. Details of the Government Undertakings and the Corporations.
10. Details of the State Government Organizations.
11. River water control boards duties and responsibilities.
12. Schedule of coal and electricity policy.
13. Education and Primary services.
Copies of the state reorganization bill translated in Telugu and Urdu was circulated among the members and it was placed in Assembly website** (www.aplegislature.org)
