It was widely reported in the media that Eros Internationals, a leading production house and distribution company, has acquired the entire rights of Mahesh Babu's starrer '1 - Nenokkadine' for Rs 72 crore. However, not many of us were aware of the secret deal between the two banners.

Actually, 14 Reels & Eros has gone for joint theatrical release of '1 - Nenokkadine'. Only the rights of Ceded region have been sold out by the makers and they choose to release on their own through local distributors in rest of the territories. With the film receiving thumbs down from the audience since Day 1, It was clear by now that everyone associated with the project have to incurr losses.

As per the deal, Rights of '14 Reels' upcoming movie 'Aagadu' will be given to Eros to compensate the loss incurred due to 'ONE'. This is really a big setback for 14 Reels as they would have seen huge table profits for Aagadu if not for the sharing basis with Eros.
