Yes. As many as 2463 candidates, who have failed to submit the details of their election expenditure during the last elections, have been disqualified to contest in the elections this time. Most of these have contested as ward members and corporators. Interestingly, a large number of them are said to be from the Opposition. Such numbers are more in Ramagundam Municipality, where the opposition is quite strong. As many as 363 persons from Ramagundam have been disqualified this way.
