25 Lakh People die in India every year due to it!

Deaths due to Pollution has been at an alarming rate in India. The day when a ban will be imposed all over the country on fire crackers during Diwali isn't far away.

As per the Lancet Commission on Pollution and Health report, 25 Lakh People have been dying every year in India due to pollution. This is the highest compared to any country in the World. With 18 lakh deaths per year, China occupies the second position.

Globally, 9 million people die every year due to pollution. This is three times more than combined deaths caused by AIDS, TB and Malaria.

Most of the Pollution related death happen in Developing Nations. Why because, Globalisation, Mining and Manufacturing are happening in these countries where environment regulations aren't implemented strictly.
