3 Capitals For AP! Who Said That?

Update: 2019-11-01 06:11 GMT
People of AP are in a dilemma whether the state will have a permanent capital anytime soon. Why because, TDP Government which was in power for the past 5 years proposed Worldclass capital Amaravati. However, Current YCP Govt is in no mood to follow the Amaravati model. A Committee has been appointed already to establish Capital in an another location.

Rajya Sabha MP TG Venkatesh came up with a fresh proposal: 'Andhra Pradesh need three capitals..only then development happens in Rayalaseema'.

Speaking at the rally conducted to celebrate Sardar Vallabhai Patel's birth anniversary, TG Venkatesh declared BJP is committed to Rayalaseema Declaration. He added, 'Amaravati might be capital but there are no employment opportunities for people from Rayalaseema. Having a capital and high court in Seema is a necessity. Don't create a situation where there will be a movement for Rayalaseema Statehood. The issue can be resolved by planning a capital in each of the three regions in AP'.

Not even a single state in the country have two capitals...Forget about the third one! If there are three capitals, From where does the Chief Minister, Ministers and Secretariat Employees operate? Senior Politicians like TG need to think whether such things will be practically possible before making those statements.

As a BJP Leader, The first priority of TG Venkatesh should be to bring as many funds as possible to the state from the central government. Building a single capital becomes very difficult if centre doesn't offer sufficient funding.
