The political atmosphere in Tamil Nadu changed all of a sudden after TTV Dhinakaran walked out of Tihar Jail upon receiving bail in EC bribery case. Following the orders of his aunt VK Sasikala Natarajan, Dhinakaran began wooing the AIADMK MLAs in Tamil Nadu CM Palanisamy's Camp.
Only close to 15 MLAs came to greet TTV Dhinakaran after he stepped out of Tihar jail. By Thursday, The count has gone up to 32 and Tamil Nadu Government is facing the heat. If a trust vote was sought anytime soon, Palanisamy will have to step down as CM of Tamil Nadu as he lacked the required majority. Even O Panneerselvam can't save the government with his 12 MLAs if all the 32 MLAs remain loyal to Dhinakaran.
CM Palanisamy convened an emergency meeting with Ministers to discuss the steps to be taken for handling the crisis. Post the meeting, Ministers made an announcement that there is no threat what-so-ever to the Palanisamy's Government.
