AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is said to be upset with at least seven of his MLAs . The reason? These MLAs did not even bother to attend the party's prestigious "Gadapa Gadapaku" programme. Jagan, who reviewed the implementation of the Gadapa Gadapaku programme on the basis of a report submitted by the IPAC, is reported to have taken a serious view of the working style of these MLAs.

According to insiders, there was no programme whatsoever under the Gadapa Gadapaku in Eluru, Mylavaram, Kovvur and Srisailam assembly constituencies. In three more constituencies, though there were programmes, the MLAs did not take an active part in the campaign. An angry YS Jagan is said to have told the party MLAs that he cannot put at stake the party for the sake of them.

Meanwhile, IPAC's Rishikesh Singh is said to be briefing YS Jagan Mohan Reddy about the functioning of various MLAs. Rishikesh Singh took over the IPAC work in Andhra Pradesh after Prashant Kishore opted out of the IPAC. Though PK continues to guide, the nitty gritty is being decided by Rishikesh Singh.

Meanwhile, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told the party MLAs that they should make efforts to win all the 175 assembly seats in the 2024 elections. Echoing YS Jagan, minister Ambati Rambabu said that the YSRCP will win all the 175 seats in the state including Kuppam, which is TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's borough.
