In the Fourth Phase of 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Polling has been conducted in 71 Constituencies across 9 States. 59.3 percent polling was recorded in these states on an average by 6 pm on Monday.
Statewide Voting Percentage by 6 PM:
Bihar: 53.6 percent
Madhya Pradesh: 65.8 percent
Maharashtra: 51 percent
Rajasthan: 62.9 percent
Uttar Pradesh: 53.1 percent
West Bengal: 76.5 percent
Odisha: 64 percent
Jharkhand: 66.4 percent
Jammu and Kashmir: 9.7 percent
Other than few violent incidents in West Bengal, Polling in the Fourth Phase is mostly peaceful. BJP appealed Election Commission to deploy CRPF Jawans in all the polling stations in Bengal for free and fair elections.
