The novel coronavirus is spreading its deadly wings in Andhra Pradesh as 73 fresh cases were reported in the state in the past 24 hours. With the fresh cases, the tool of the total cases in the state stood at 1332.
The good news is that no fatalities were reported in the state in the last 24 hours. The AP Health Department has issued a Health bulletin to confirm the same.
Out of the newly reported 73 cases, Guntur reported 29 cases while Krishna and Kurnool districts reported 13 and 11 cases reportedly. The active cases in the state stood at 1014 as 287 have recovered from the virus and discharged from the hospitals accordingly.
All these active patients have been given treatment at the hospitals. To date, 30 members have succumbed to the dreaded COVID-19 virus in the state. In the past 24 hours, 7727 samples were tested for the virus, and out of them, 73 members have tested positive for the virus.
