The situation of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh is turning out to be bad from worse with 75 fresh poistive cases being reported in the past 24 hours. The health bulletin issued by the state government states that with the 75 new COVID-19 cases the toll of the total cases reached 722 in the state.
Looking at the fresh reported cases, 25 cases were reported in Chittoor district, 20 in Guntur, while Kurnool district reported 16 positive cases. Krishna District, Anantapur, Kadapa and East Godavari districts reported 5,4,3 and 2 cases respectively.
To date, 92 patients were discharged after recovering from the virus and testing negative for the fatal virus, while 20 members succumbed to COVID-19 in the state.
Guntur district tops the list with the most number of positive cases with 149 cases followed by Krishna and Kurnool districts with 80 and 74 cases respectively. Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts continue to report zero positive cases of COVID-19.
