Old Cases against Telangana Congress Leaders have been revoked ahead of the Early Polls. Opposition Parties allege Caretaker CM KCR has been misusing power to win as many seats as possible.
Former Sangareddy MLA Jaggareddy was arrested in connection with 2004 Passport Fraud Case. The Ex-MLA was facing charges of obtaining passports with fake documents and accepting a bribe of Rs 15 lakh for the US trip of Gujarat-based Family. He was sent to 14 days remand after producing in the court.
A case under relevant sections of arms act was booked against Congress Leader Gandra Venkataramana Reddy and his brother Gandra Bhupal Reddy on Tuesday night. There was a dispute over transactions related to crushers between Gandra Bhupal Reddy and his business partner Yerrabelli Ravinder. Both of them filed police complaints against each other over issuance of threats using revolver. Cops booked case against both the parties.
Who is going to be the next target? Analysts expect Revanth Reddy who is the prime accused in the cash-for-vote case could be in the danger zone.
Whereas, TRS Leaders have been rubbishing the accusations by Opposition Parties. They say law will take its own course & Government has no role what-so-ever in the case against Congress Leaders.
