A deal between Naidu & Bankers on Farm Loan waiver

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and State-level Bankers entered into an informal deal regarding the implementation of Farm Loan Waiver. This high-level meeting Chaired by Hit-Tech Babu took place at Secretariat.

Chandrababu Naidu appealed farmers to replay the balance amount after Farm Loan Waiver. On the other hand, Bankers promised to work towards improving the standards of living of the poor.

The Chief Minister encouraged Bankers to provide finance for food parks, tourism programmes, handicrafts, apparel and sprinkler producing units. He has given assurance that 'Rythu Sadhikara Samstha' will act as guarantee to the loans granted by them.

Very soon, Bankers will be setting up 5 Committed for agriculture, horticulture, agro processing industries, dryland farming, micro irrigation, education, skill development and animal husbandry. Government Officials, Bankers and Consultants will be part of these committees.
