In a shocking incident, A Man threw chilli powder at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal outside his chamber on third floor in the Secretariat on Tuesday.
The Attacker was identified as Anil Kumar. He reached Delhi Secretariat at 1 pm and waited in a room near CM's Office. Soon after Arvind Kejriwal left his office, He threw the chill powder he brought with him at the CM. The target of the attacker seems to be the eyes of Kejriwal. Chief Minister luckily escaped without any damage to his eyes but his spectacles were broken.
Anil Kumar was able to bring Chilli Powder into secretariat by inserting it into the packets of 'Khaini', tobacco product. Upon throwing the chill powder, He threatened to shoot the Chief Minister after coming out of the prison.
AAP sees it as a serious security lapse and held Delhi Police responsible for what has happened. The Ruling Party says, 'Its a politically motivated attack. Even CM is unsafe in Delhi. The Attacker was able to reach the Chief Minister crossing all the security barriers'.
