AR Rahman joins Aamir @ Intolerance

AR Rahman opened up on the rising intolerance in India by describing 'Award Wapsi' as poetic as its non-violent in nature. He believes any kind of protest should be classy and shouldn't harm another person.

The Oscar Winning Composer feels intolerance debate in the country is becoming chaotic and people have come to the stage of hitting each other. He, however, urges everyone to set a best example by practicing non-violence path shown by Mahatma Gandhi.

Rahman agrees with Aamir Khan's opinion on intolerance in India. The Composer reminds he faced similar backlash for composing music for Iranian flick 'Muhammad: Messenger of God'. He, however, refused to react on Aamir Khan's comment that his wife Kiran Rao suggested leaving India fearing the atmosphere around.

Post the murders of rationalist MM Kalburgi and Narender Dabholkar, A lot of creative people including filmmakers, writers and actors have returned their awards in protest against the rising intolerance.
