Visakhapatnam, the most happening city in Andhra Pradesh, will soon get 'Nagara Vanam' which is a National Park something similar to that of Kasu Brahmananda Reddy (KBR) National Park in Hyderabad.
AP Government identified around 300-acres of Kambalakonda wildlife sanctuary for setting up 'Nagara Vanam'. The project which will be 20 km from the city will be funded by Central Government. About Rs 10 crore will be spend on this project which is part of beautification process taken up post Hudhud cyclone.
'Nagara Vanam' will have facilities like toilets and benches for the people to relax apart from enjoying the atmosphere. Even watch-towers will be arranged for security reasons.
Officials are planning to lay the foundation stone in during Vana Mahotsavam held in this month.
