The dream of Arvind Kejriwal to bring his Aam Admi Party to power at least in one of the five states where Assembly Polls were held recently hasn't come true.
Though Exit Polls have predicted a Neck-and-Neck situation between Congress & AAP in Punjab, The actual reality is quite shocking. While Congress is leading in 72 seats to form the government in 117 members Assembly, AAP settled with second spot by managing to lead only in 27 seats. Whereas, Ruling Akali Dal-BJP dropped to 3rd position (16 seats).
AAP didn't even open account in rest of the four states (Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Goa). While BJP forms the Government in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Congress is certain to come to power in Punjab. When it comes to Manipur, Congress is inching closer to victory. Although Congress is slightly ahead of BJP in Goa, Anything could happen in the next few hours.
