Popular playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya yet again made news for all the wrong reasons and this time a serious charge has been levelled against him.
A woman filed a complaint with Oshiwara police accusing Abhijeet Bhattacharya of abusing and molesting her at the Lokhandwala Durga Puja pandal. Actually, The woman was there for the life performance of Singer Kailash Kher.
Presence of too much crowd forced the woman to leave her seat to watch the performance and it was then Abhijeet Bhattacharya touched her inappropriately. When she objected to the misbehaviour and warned him of taking it to the notice of officials, The Singer threatened her with dire consequences.
Cops have filed an FIR against Abhijeet Bhattacharya under Sections 34, 354 A & 506 of Indian Penal Code. The controversial singer will be questioned soon as part of the investigation and he could be arrested if the charges against him were proven.
