ABN-AndhraJyothy is one of the leading media channels in Telugu states. Out of all the programs, Open Heart With RK and Kotha Paluku are the famous ones and there are a dedicated set of viewers for that. While the first one is a talk show, the second one is a weekly column where the managing director of ABN Vemuri Radhakrishna gives his opinion on various developments in the state across the issues.
In the latest column of Kotta Paluku, RK had shed light on how the YCP government is showing partiality to the Sakshi paper by giving all the advertisements for the paper by leaving out all the other newspapers.
Quoting the numbers, RK said that since the YCP rose to power Sakshi saw a benefit of around Rs 300 crore by getting a flood of advertisements and Andhra Jyothi had to lose the income with the government favoring Sakshi.
Drawing a comparison between Jagan and previous Chief Ministers, RK alleged that no Chief Minister had done like this in the past, and spending such a big amount to give advertisements for the newspaper might also be a first of a kind in the country.
Mentioning how the Andhra Jyothi paper had to go through losses in the revenue the papers usually get through the advertisements, RK said that raising voice for the people is more important for them than the revenue and he will not bow down before anyone to get the ads.
Looking at the issue highlighted by Vemuri Radha Krishna, CM Jagan is not happy with a section of the media that is against him or the party. This is not a secret as Jagan said the same while speaking to the media.
Not just the Chief Minister, the Cabinet Ministers like Kodali Nani also expressed their dissatisfaction over the media outlets and called for a ban on these outlets for their political stand.

Given the fact that the Chief Minister is not happy with them, it is not a piece of big news to learn that the Chief Minister is not giving any advertisements to that particular media outlet.
