After Amma Canteens & Water, Now Amma Employment!

Tamilnadu chief minister Jayalalithaa is going ahead with her populist schemes. After Amma Canteens and Amma Water, She now announced 'Amma Skill Employment and Training Scheme' to provide man-power for Micro, Smal and Medium Enterprises (MSMESs) in the Tamil land.

Unemployed Youth aged between 18 to 25 years with an diploma or engineering degree will be kept on job training for 6 months with a monthly pay of Rs 5,000 and companies will be paying this amount. After the 6 months period, Government will pay Rs 12,000 per trainee to the company and the skills of the trainee will be tested by National Skills Development Corporation and Certified.

Jayalalithaa announces 'Amma Skill Employment and Training Scheme' would benefit 25,000 youth this year. It costs Rs 32.50 crore in 2014 for the state government. 30% of the seats in this employment scheme would be reserved for Women.
