The opposition parties in the country got an unexpected chance to criticize Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his alleged rude behavior after a Governor said that during his meeting with Modi, he behaved in a rude manner. His comments had kickstarted a big controversy.

It was the Governor of Meghalaya Satya Pal Malik who made sensational claims against Modi. The opposition parties have started a new demand that Narendra Modi and Amit Shah should give a clarification on the issue.

Meghalaya Governor who has been constantly targeting the Centre over the farmers' issues addressed a meeting in Haryana and said that the brief meeting between him and Narendra Modi did not go well as planned with the Prime Minister being rude.

According to the Governor, he met Narendra Modi over the farmers' issue. In less than 5 minutes we had a fight. In the meeting, he was very arrogant. The way he disrespected the farmers did not sit down well with me, he said.

The Meghalaya Governor also alleged that, when he told PM Modi that 500 farmers had lost their lives in the protest, he reportedly asked did the farmers die for him?.

Satya Pal Malik even said that, after meeting Narendra Modi, he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. During the meeting, Amit Shah said PM lost his mind and asked me to keep meeting, Malik said.

Reacting to the controversy, the opposition parties didn't waste any time in targeting the Prime Minister and Union government. The outfits are demanding an apology from Narendra Modi for being rude.

Accusing the Prime Minister of being anti-farmer and having an insensitive nature, the Congress party said that Narendra Modi works for the capitalists and he doesn't bother about the farmers. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala demanded Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to address the issue and give an apology.

After his comments created a huge controversy, the Governor took a U-turn and said that he never said PM Modi was arrogant but had an adamant nature. Amit Shah also did not make any comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said.
