ITC, a reputed brand which is already into multi-business model, shifted its Agri Business base from Hyderabad to AP. Now, automobile maker Ashok Leyland is following the same track. The company is planning to set up manufacturing plant in Mallavalli village, Krishna district. About 316 acres of land were sought from AP Government to invest Rs 1,000 crore near the AP Capital. This deal is expected to close very soon with both the parties very much willing to work together.

Recently, The firm forayed into the premium chocolate segment and the manufacturing plant was set up in Bengaluru. The assorted chocolates cost Rs 1,000 per box and they will sold through boutiques in the luxury hotels.
