The BJP in Telangana, it appears, is going full steam ahead. Within a matter of just 20 days, the top three leaders of the party - PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda would be visiting Telangana. This clearly shows the intent of the national leadership in preparing the BJP for the 2023 assembly and 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
While JP Nadda visited Mahabubnagar on May 4, Amit Shah addressed a massive public meeting in Tukkuguda on May 14. Both the meetings were huge successes and the messaging through the speeches was quite loud and clear. Now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Hyderabad on May 26.
Though Modi Is coming to Hyderabad mainly to address the annual day of the Indian School of Business, he is also likely to virtually inaugurate the Ramagundam factory. He is also likely to meet the key party workers to discuss the political situation. He is also likely to discuss the possibility of early polls to the Telangana assembly.
Meanwhile, buoyed up by the stupendous success of the second phase of the Praja Sangrama yatra, state BJP president Bandi Sanjay is set to launch the third phase of the yatra soon. The yatra is likely to begin in June and the focal area this time would be undivided Warangal district. Sources said the ground work for the Warangal Yatra has already begun, say party sources.
