Air Asia Flight Made An Emergency Landing In Hyd Airport

Air Asia flight I51543 carrying flying from Jaipur to Hyderabad with 76 passengers made an emergency landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. This decision was taken after fuel leakage tok place.

The pilots who noticed the leakage of fuel shut down one of the engines as a preventive measure and the flight made an emergency landing at the airport with one engine.

After the snag was informed by the pilot emergency was announced in the airport and until the flight landed safely all the other operations were kept on hold temporarily. All the passengers were sent in Chandigarh Bengaluru flight later.

"AirAsia India aircraft VT IXC operating as i51543 from Jaipur to Hyderabad on May 26 2020, encountered a technical issue and carried out a precautionary engine shut down," a statement issued by the Air Asia read.
