National carrier Air India operates the World's Longest All-Women flight from Delhi to San Francisco to mark International Women's Day celebrations.
Apparently, The non-stop Delhi-San Franciso All-Women Flight took off from national capital on March 6th. It would cover a distance of 14,500 kms in about 17 hours. Speciality about this flight would all operations from Cockpit & Cabin crew, Check-in Staff, Customer Care Staff, Air Traffic Control, Doctor and Entire Ground Handling will be performed by Women.
Air India CMD Ashwani Lohani claims operation of a World's Longest All-Women flight is a historic achievement and speaks volumes about women empowerment. She says it only reflects the kind of respect Air India have for women.
