AP brand ambassadors In Panama Papers

The Andhra Pradesh government has recently earned criticism after appointing Bollywood celebrity couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol as the brand ambassadors. The government's decision has raised many eyebrows and some even say that the decision was prompted by the actor's promise to set up an entertainment and media center in the Amaravati.

Now in a shocking development the names of Andhra Brand Ambassadors have listed in sensational Panama papers. Ajay Devgan's name has surfaced in the Panama Papers case and as per report the actor had allegedly bought shares in a British Virgin Islands based company - Marylebone Entertainment.

The reports added that the actor bought the shares in the name of his company Nysa Yug Entertainment, which he co-owns with wife Kajol. Its known that names of  Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan popped into Panama papers.

Now AP government may face the criticism of  having couple like Ajay Devgn and Kajol with negative image as a brand icons. It remains seen if Andhra government will reconsider the brand ambassadors or have them continue. However Devgan refuted the claims and said that the company was set up with RBI guidelines.
