AP Government has come up with a draft map for the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in AP Capital covering Vijayawada, Guntur and Tenali.
180 km Outer Ring Road will start from NH-5 near Hanuman Junction and cover Ramapuram, Tummalapalli, Nandivada, Gudivada, Pamarru and Bhatlapenumarru. Upon crossing the Prakasam barrage, The ORR will cover Jampani, Chinaravuru, Veliveru, Vejendla, Guntur city, Perecherla, Siripuram, Lingamguntla, Pedakurapadu, Tammavaram and Amaravati.
Outer Ringh Road will be an 8-lane road with two service lanes on either side, touching NH-5 near Guntur and NH-9 near Kanchikacherla.
Two Bridges will be built across Krishna river in Vijayawada. While the bridge in the upstream would connect Amaravati and Mogulluru, the bridge is downstream will connect Bhatlapenumarru and Jampani.
