Rajampet Sitting MLA Meda Mallikarjun Reddy ditched TDP to join YSR Congress Party recently. Now, None other than Vamana Satish who is the President of Telugu Association of North America (TANA) is aspiring to be TDP Candidate for this constituency.
Vemana Satish met AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in Undavalli to place the request for MLA Ticket. He claims to have been a loyal Party Member since the past 25 years and also spoke about the service done to TDP through TANA. 'If I receive Rajampet Ticket, I can assure the party leadership a gift in return in the form of massive majority,' he told.
TDP Supremo promised Vamana Satish that his candidature will be considered but maintained ticket will be allotted to the winning horse whoever it might be. He assured to the TANA Chief that those who contribute to the party will be receiving due recognition at some point.
If he bags the MLA Ticket, Vemana Satish could hire few film personalities to campaign for him extensively before the elections. Let's see what Chandrababu Naidu will do..!
