3rd MLA Quits Telugu Desam Party

Update: 2019-02-13 05:47 GMT
TDP Leadership received a rude shock within short period after the Delhi Deeksha. Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan has bid goodbye to the Ruling Party. He sent the resignation letter to CM Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday morning.

Upon holding a meeting with his followers, Amanchi Krishna Mohan announced his decision to join YSR Congress Party. He informed about his meeting with YS Jaganmohan Reddy Today.

Mediation done by TDP Ministers and even the meeting with Chandrababu Naidu could prevent the exit of Amanchi Krishna Mohan. He expressed his displeasure over the manner in which his rivals were encouraged by the party in Chirala Constituency during the meeting with CM. No assurance was given by the TDP Leadership over sorting out issues.

In 2014 Polls, Amanchi defeated the candidates of all the parties contesting as an independent and joined TDP after the elections. Losing such a Leader with a strong base is a big setback to the Ruling Party.

Amanchi is the third MLA to quit TDP. Earlier, Ravela Kishore Babu (Prathipadu) and Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy (Rajampet) tendered their resignations.
