KCR's Wish To Be Fulfilled, High Court Bifurcation Soon

Update: 2018-08-24 05:45 GMT
At long last, KCR's wish is getting fulfilled. The last vestige of undivided AP, the AP High Court, will now be bifurcated and AP High Court will go  to Amaravati. KCR has been strongly advocating a division of the High Court for quite sometime and had even met the Prime Miniter and the Union Law Minister several times on this.  He had also met Governor ESL Narasimhan demanding bifurcation.

KCR is unhappy with the joint high court as the justices have given several verdicts that go against his interests. Several of his decisions have either been overruled or stayed. In case of Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s suspension from the house, the High Court has severely censured him and asked the Assembly Secretary to appear before it. He feels that unless the court is bifurcated, he would not get any relief. So, the latest decision must be music to KCR’s ears.

But, the lawyers from AP are upset that Chandrababu is not doing enough to stall the move. They argue that they still have five more years to stay in Hyderabad and that there was no hurry in bifurcating the High Court. But, with Chandrababu naidu not standing up for them, they feel KCR will have his way.
