Countdown For BJP Ministers Resignations

Update: 2018-03-08 05:13 GMT
After the meeting with Cabinet Colleagues last night, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced Union Ministers Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Sujana Chowdary would come out of Modi Cabinet on Thursday. This decision was taken after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley made it clear the promise of Special Status can't be fulfilled. CM expressed displeasure over the ill-treatment meted out to AP though TDP is an alliance partner to BJP. 'We waited for four years…but the patience didn't give any result. Next move will depend on the response from Centre to the resignations,' informs CM.

On Wednesday, BJP High Command instructed Ministers Kamineni Srinivas and Manikyala Rao to be ready to quit TDP Cabinet. They might tender their resignation Today.

During the BJLP Meeting, BJP MLAs and MLCs pledged they won't tolerate if TDP starts the blame game and a befitting reply would be given. On Thursday, Amit Shah is going to hold a meeting with AP BJP Leaders in Delhi to decide on continuing alliance with TDP and future course of action.
