AP CM Constitutes High-Power Panel On Capital

AP Cabinet headed by CM Jaganmohan Reddy took the decision to constitute a high-power committee comprising of 16 members regarding the capital issue. Orders were issued by the State Government in this regard on Sunday.

High-Power Panel will be led by Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy. Ministers Botsa Satyanarayana, Kodali Nani, Mekathoti Sucharita, Mekapati Goutham Reddy, Kanna Babu, Perni Nani, Mopidevi Venkataramana, Pilli Subhash Chandrabose, Adimulapu Suresh, Former Chief Secretary Ajay Kallam and DGP Gowtham Sawang will act as the members of the committee. Upon holding discussions on GN Rao and Boston Consultancy Reports, This Panel will be submitting a detailed report on the capital within three weeks. Final call will be taken on the capital issue based on the suggestions made by the new panel.

YCP Government alleges TDP Government resorted to land mafia in the capital region. It even highlights that 4,070 acres changed hands prior to the announcement of Amaravati as AP Capital. High-Power Committee will be suggesting how State Government should deal with Insider Trading happened during the TDP rule.
