AP Budget 2019-20 Highlights

Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy presented AP Budget of Rs 2.31 lakh crore for the financial year 2019-20 in the Assembly on Friday. He described the First Budget of YCP Government as 'Nava Rathnalu' Budget stressing that implementing of Manifesto Promises is the responsibility of the Government. He went on to say Promises made by YCP has been implemented from the first year itself.

Rs 29,770 crore for Secondary Education & Rs 3,020 crore for Higher Education

Rs 29,329.98 crore for Rural Development

Rs 28,886 crore allotted for Agriculture

Rs 18,000 crore for YSR Pension Kanuka

Rs 13,139 crore for Water Resources

Rs 12,000 crore for Health, Family Welfare

Rs 12,000 crore for Irrigation Sector

Rs 8,500 crore for YSR Rythu Barosa

Rs 5,000 crore for YSR Housing Scheme

Rs 6,861 crore for Power Sector

Rs 6,500 crore for Amma Vodi Scheme

Rs 5,000 crore for Power Incentives

Rs 3,000 crore for MSP

Rs 3,000 crore fro Rice Subsidy

Rs 2,163 crore for Crop Insurance

Rs 2,000 crore for Disaster Management Fund

Rs 1,740 crore for YSR Arogya Shri

Rs 1,500 crore each for facilities in Schools & Rs 1,077 crore for Mid-Day Meals. Rs 100 crore for establishing Akshaya Patra Foundation Kitchens across the state.


Rs 1,150 crore for AgriGold Victims

Rs 1,000 crore for APSRTC & Rs 500 crore for subsidies. Rs 260 crore for AP Highways Development Corporation.

Rs 700 crore for Village Secretariats, Rs 280 crore Municipal Ward Volunteers and Rs 180 crore for Municipal Ward Secretariats.

Rs 580.29 crore for Technical Education

Rs 573.60 crore for Industrial Incentives

Rs 455.85 crore for ASHA Workers

Rs 400 crore for financial assistance to Auto Drivers

Rs 329.68 crore for Sports & Youth Services

Rs 300 crore for BCs & Rs 200 crore for SCs under YSR Kalyana Kanuka. Rs 45 crore for STs under YSR Giri Putrika Kalyana Kanuka. Rs 100 crore for Minorities under YSR Shaadi Thofa.

Rs 100 crore for Pension of Aids Victims

Rs 100 crore for Lawyers Welfare Trust

Rs 77.67 crore for Arts & Culture

Rs 7 crore for Pension of Transgenders

New Sand Policy to end the lotting of Sand Mafia. Only Government Agencies will be permitted to sell sand.

Polavaram Project will be completed by 2021.
