AP Government is firm on achieving its target of 33,000 acres of land for construction of proposed new Capital Amaravathi. Only the land owners of around 2,500 acres aren't co-operating with Land Pooling Process. While 700 acres are identified in Thullur mandal, Another 1,500 acres are likely to be acquired in Thadepally and Mangalagiri Mandals.
Post the tweets of Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan urging AP Government not to use Land Acquisition Act on those farmers unwilling to take part in Land Pooling, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is watchful and took his time to use the last weapon. Land Acquisition notification is likely to be issued by TDP Government on August 21st.
Reportedly, People of Thullur mandal firmly opposing Pawan Kalyan's appeal to exempt Undavalli, Penumaka and Bethapudi villages. Claiming that 98% of farmers have voluntarily given their lands, They question, 'How fare is it to exempt the remaining 2%?' and suggest Jana Sena chief to convince the reluctant farmers to take part in the land pooling.
Even Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu asked Pawan Kalyan to suggest what the Government has to do when few people refuse to co-operate when majority favoured land pooling.
