AP Achieved Record Growth rate

Here comes the good news for all Andhraites who fearing about future eof bifurcated state,In spite of bifurcation pangs, AP recorded a growth rate of 13.94 per cent in the second quarter, registering an average half yearly growth of 11.77 per cent.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu released the report and stated that the state has achieved 11.77 per cent growth rate in the first half of this fiscal against the target of 10.62 per cent. Chandrababu Naidu released the report on the "Quarterly Performance Assessment Report Q2 (July-September) 2015" at the two-day Collectors Conference in Vijayawada.

"After achieving 9.72 per cent in the first quarter  the state's economy has achieved 13.94 percent in the second quarter. Overall the  half yearly growth performance (H1) stands impressive at 11.77 per cent against the target of 10.62 per cent," Naidu said.

Naidu  said particularly fisheries and animal husbandry has achieved growth rate of 47.10 per cent and it was followed by service sector 8.05 per cent and industry 6.25 per cent.

The Chief Minister also asked the collectors to prepare action plans for their concerned districts to achieve better growth rate. Naidu revealing future plans said that the  state government is currently working on the Double Digit Growth Plan to achieve a per-capita income over Rs 10 lakh by 2029-30. Naidu also announced that the administrative city of Amaravati will be completed by 2018.
