AP DGP Says, Charge Sheet In Vijayawada Divya Case Will Be Filed In Seven Days

The alleged murder case of B.Tech student Divya Tejaswini in Vijayawada has caused quite a stir across the state.  While the victim succumbed to the injuries, the accused is being treated at Guntur GGH.

Andhra Pradesh  DGP Gautam Sawang, who addressed the media recently called the incident as very sad. He said the Charge sheet will be filed in seven days in this case like the Hyderabad Disha case.  He expressed profound sympathy to the family members of the victim

Talking further, the DGP said the police department will not spare anyone who commits such assaults on children and women. The police speeded up the investigation in this case.

On the other hand, some media reports claim the accused Nagendra in his statement reportedly said he was married to Divya last year. He said he didn't cut the victim's throat and they committed suicide.

Earlier, the victim's mother urged to not spread lies about her daughter and said the viral picture of her daughter with the accused is morphed. The picture went viral on social media
