The coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh continue to rise on each passing day. In the last 24 hours, the state recorded 246 fresh Covid cases taking the total cases toll to 5087 in the state.
As per the report of the health department, 15,173 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and found that 246 people are infected with the virus. On the positive side, 47 people have got cured and discharged from the hospital.
Among the infected people, two died in the state, one each from Kurnool and Anantapur. As of now, the positive cases stands at 2231 and 2770 were cured and discharged.
The cumulative positive cases from foreign returnees stand at 210 and 187 are active. And, 1159 cases came from migrants and among them, 567 people are being treated, and 22 were discharged yesterday.
