Andhra Pradesh, which is the second worst-affected state with the Coronavirus outbreak continues its spree to report fewer Coronavirus infections. In a single day, over 6,000 new cases were detected.
In the past 24 hours, as many as 68,429 samples were tested and 6,190 patients were found infected with the novel Coronavirus taking the caseload to 6,87,351.
The fresh casualties, which have been decreasing gradually fell further with the state witnessing 37 new casualties in the last 24 hours. So far, 5,780 patients succumbed to the virus.
With nearly 10,000 patients beating the COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the total recoveries in the state mounted to a whopping 6,22,136. The active cases stood at 59,435.
East Godavari, the worst-affected region added 991 cases followed by West Godavari(907), Chittor(784), Prakasham(569), Nellore(432), Guntur(410), and Krishna(398).
