Andhra Pradesh reported 7895 fresh infections in the last 24 hours

Andhra Pradesh witnessed a dip in fresh cases of pandemic cases as the state reported 7,895 new infections in the last 24 hours that takes the toll of the total cases to 353,111.

According to the information provided by the health bulletin, 46,712 samples were tested for the virus and 7,895 people were found infected with the virus. So far 32,38,038 samples have been tested in the state.

In the last 24  hours, 63 people breathed their last breath battling the respiratory disease. As of now, 3282 people succumbed to the dreaded virus in the state.

On a brighter note, as many as 7,449 patients were declared cured in the last 24 hours and so far 257,192 patients have been recovered. The active cases stood at 89742.

East Godavari continues to be the hotspot for the virus outbreak as the region added 1256 fresh infections in the last 24 hours followed by Nellore(985), Chittor(934), and Prakasam(923).
