Andhra Pradesh Straightaway Reported Over 9k Cases For 3rd Consecutive Day

Pandemic infections continue to surge in Andhra Pradesh as the state straightaway reported over 9,000 fresh cases for three consecutive days raising many fears and concerns.

In the last 24 hours, Andhra Pradesh reported as many as 9393 fresh cases. With this, the total cases surpassed the 3.25 lakh-mark and mounted to 325396.

According to the Health bulletin,  55551 samples were tested for the disease in the last 24 hours and 9393 fresh infections were detected. As of now, 3074847 samples were tested for the disease.

East Godavari continues to be the worst-affected region in the state with the virus outbreak as the district added 1357 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.

West Godavari, Visakhapatnam, and Anantapur reported the next highest fresh cases in the last 24 hours with 995,985 and 973 infections respectively.

Total fatalities in connection with the ongoing pandemic in the state mounted to 3,001 with 95 patients breathed their last breath battling the virus in the last 24 hours.

On a brighter note, a total of 8846 patients were declared cured of the respiratory disease in a single day, taking the total recoveries to 2,35,218. The active cases stood at 87,177.
