Update: 2015-09-22 12:54 GMT
AP Government will be soon setting up a Korean Desk in the state to lure investments from the East Asian Nation.

Speaking at the inaugural of Korea Caravan, Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao said relations between India and South Korea were cultural and not merely commercial, reminding the association began with Princess of Ayodhya tying the knot with King of Korea in AD 48. He particularly mentioned about the recent World Bank survey which brought to light AP holds second place in the country when it comes to ease of doing business.

Apart from thanking the Korean Embassy for choosing Andhra to organise first ever Korea Caravan outside Delhi, IYR Krishna Rao appealed Korea to take part in the construction of World-class AP Capital Amaravati.

Joon-Gyu Lee, who is Korean Ambassador to India, told AP is garnering the attention of the World with good progress and Korean Companies are eager to invest in the state in the areas of skill development, infrastructure and smart cities.
