The Kashmir Valley is one of the most beautiful places in the country. Despite having stunning landscapes and beautiful locations, the valley has been under terror fear for the past few decades. Since Pakistan was carved out of India, the Kashmir issue has been going on. Things in the valley started changing after section 370 was lifted.
Tourism started seeing good footfalls in the valley after lifting the section. Now the Kashmir valley is all set to welcome its first-ever multiplex. Leading theatre chain INOX is taking care of the construction and the establishment would be thrown open.
As per the media reports, the multiplex would have a seating capacity of 520, an updated sound system, auditoriums, and food courts. The establishment would be finished by the coming September. The establishment is being built in the Srinagar area.
It has to be mentioned here that Kashmir has been a sensitive region due to terror fear. As a safety measure, theatres in the valley have been shut since 1990. With the special status getting lifted, the status quo in Kashmir valley has changed at once.
Earlier, the union government said that those who want to buy lands can do so. Non-locals can also buy the lands and properties. It is said that the move is doing wonders for the valley and the real estate sector started seeing good numbers.
