Another TDP Leader Reluctant To Contest LS Polls?

Update: 2019-02-25 11:05 GMT
Two Sitting MPs has quit TDP and joined YCP months ahead of the 2019 Elections. Some of the MP Candidates of the Ruling Party are reluctant to contest the Lok Sabha Polls. Already, Anantapur MP Nimmala Kistappa and JC Pavan Kumar Reddy (Anantapur) are hesitating to take such a huge risk. And now, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy isn't ready to contest from Ongole Parliament Constituency.

Until recently, There were reports of Magunta planning to join the Main Opposition. However, YV Subba Reddy who resigned to his MP Seat (Ongole) for Special Status ruled out any such possibility. He questioned, 'How can YCP welcome a weak candidate who faced defeat in the last elections? I will be contesting from Ongole in the Lok Sabha Polls'.

YV Subba Reddy ruled out any chance for the Opponents to win against him in Ongole Constituency. It's never easy for any Candidate to win against a Strong Candidate like YV. This could be why Magunta is keen to contest Assembly Polls.

Magunta served as Ongole MP for multiple terms in the past. He, however, faced defeat in 2014 Polls by a big margin. If such a Senior Leader in TDP is hesitant to contest Lok Sabha Polls, Imagine what would be the situation of First Time MPs & other Ex-MPs in the Ruling Party.
