Anyone blocking oxygen supply will be hanged, says Delhi High Court!

Update: 2021-04-24 10:00 GMT
The shortage of oxygen supply to treat the Covid patients is the major issue faced by several hospitals in the national capital Delhi. The same issue has reached the High Court. A Hospital has moved the Delhi High Court.

During the hearing of the petition, the Delhi High Court reportedly said that anyone who obstructs the oxygen supply will be hanged.

The Delhi High Court asked the Union Government when will the oxygen supply reach Delhi."When will Delhi get 480 metric tonnes? Please tell us that," the High Court said.

Saying that people who will stop the oxygen supply will not be spared, the Delhi High Court directed the government to give examples of when the oxygen supply was obstructed.

The Delhi Government has once again kept the blame of not supplying enough oxygen supply on the Union Government and said, if they won't get 480 metric tonnes of oxygen supply, the medical system will collapse.

Stating that it had received only 297 metric tonnes of oxygen supply yesterday, the Delhi Government stressed the need for a detailed report from the Centre on the oxygen allocation.

The national capital reported 348 deaths linked to Covid in the past 24 hours, the record single-day casualties so far.
