AP BJP condemns Attack On Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Wants Complaint To Be Lodged!

Telugu Television channel ABN conducted a debate on Tuesday evening. The ongoing Amaravati protests by the Amaravati farmers against the AP government's idea to have three capitals came to the discussion.

The debate resulted in a heated argument between Amaravati Parirakshana Samithi Joint Action Committee(JAC) member Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao and BJP state general secretary S Vishnu Vardhan Reddy.

Things escalated quickly after Srinivasa Rao took his footwear and threw at the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) leader on the live television debate.

The Andhra Pradesh wing of Bharatiya Janata Party condemned the incident. The AP leaders of the saffron party urged the ABN channel to lodge a complaint against the JAC member for his disrespectful action.

Somu Veerraju, Andhra Pradesh BJP chief shared a video on his Twitter handle to condemn the attack.

On the other hand, BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao alleged that TDP was behind the attack. He demanded Chandrababu condemn the attack if TDP is not involved with this.

The AP BJP leaders are in the opinion that TDP might be behind the incident and termed the Amaravati JAC member as Chandrababu loyalist, despite he is protesting for the Amaravati farmers.

They have even listed out the similar incidents that took place during the regime of the previous Telugu Desam Party(TDP) like the attack on Amit Shah's vehicle and other incidents and are alleging TDP's role behind this.

Host on the debate Venkata Krishna has apologised for what happened and reportedly removed the Amaravati JAC member from the panelists' list for debates
