After the meeting, Andhra Pradesh Minister of Transport and I&PR Perni Nani addressed the media to share the details of the decisions, the state cabinet took today.

"As part of the election promises made by Jagan Mohan Reddy during the election campaign, the third phase of the Rythu Bharosa welfare scheme was cleared by the cabinet. Every farmer and leading farmers will be provided with Rs 2,000 each for the agricultural season," the Minister said.

So far this year, the state government gave the money to the farmers in two phases. Rs 7.500 and 4,500 were deposited in the bank accounts of farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.

When the previous government left the dues in the Input subsidy, the scheme started to lend a helping hand to the farmers who lost their lands in natural calamities, Jagan government paid Rs 1200 crores.

The cabinet has also cleared the Chief Minister's decision to appoint Jasti Naga Bhushan, as the Andhra Pradesh Additional Advocate General.

The Cabinet gave its nod to grant a restart package for the film industry. Since March this year, the film shooting came to a halt. Despite the government permitting the theatres to reopen, the theaters didn't resume their operations.

As the theaters were closed for a long period, there is a chance of furniture in the theatres to get damaged. Taking the issue into consideration in the MSME sector, the fixed power charges were suspended for three months.
